A yin practice is suitable for beginners & for more experienced practitioners. Yin poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. There is also a focus on the breath & the sensations in the body while in pose. This facilitates a very restful & informative practice. This workshop will have a focus on poses which stimulate and bring balance to the gallbladder and liver
In traditional Chinese medicine, WOOD is the energy of spring and the Wood element represents the liver and the gall bladder. This is the season to plant seeds for a future harvest, to look ahead and make new plans, formulate new ideas, make decisions, and determine our direction for the coming year – and to take action.
