Phillippa began her yoga journey 25 years ago whilst on her OE in London. Initially, appreciating the physical benefits of asana, her practice has evolved to become an invaluable part of everyday life – shifting perspective and paving the way for a more holistic and healthier way of living. Phillippa believes the discipline of yoga strips away the old and enables one to step into presence and truth more confidently with strength, grace and ease.
Phillippa completed 500 hours Teacher Training in India between 2014 and 2017 and hopes to return one day for more learning. Her practice is influenced by the dynamics of Ashtanga-Hatha, the flow of Vinyasa, and the concentration of Pranayama along with her training as a Dance Movement Therapist.
She has found TYC to be a place of ‘coming home’ during her transition back to Tauranga and feels immensely privileged to be teaching in this iconic yoga space with teachers who are dedicated to sharing the benefits of yoga from a heart space. Namaste.
