TIMETABLE

We love seeing our community enjoy the many benefits of yoga, which is why we’re dedicated to providing affordable classes.​ If you are new to yoga we advise you attend beginner classes for a minimum of  7-9 mths to 1 year -and/or discuss this with your teacher.

 

If you are pregnant and/or have medical issue or injury please tell your teacher.. Along with regular yoga classes, we run workshops and have guest teachers who bring fresh perspectives to keep things interesting.

Beginner classes are perfect if you're new to yoga or want extra guidance and we recommend you do a minimum of 6 months at this level.

 

Intermediate classes are for those with at least six months of regular practice, with the option to try inversions.

Experienced classes are for seasoned yogis, offering advanced asanas and inversions.

We also offer a special Friday ‘Pink’ class—donation-based—for women affected by cancer or autoimmune diseases.

You can become a member for $130 and enjoy 12 weeks of unlimited yoga, grab a concession card - $80 for 5 classes, or drop in casually for $20 a class (for this option you need to book).

 

Please note, that there may be last-minute teacher changes, or very occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, classes may be cancelled.

Yoga Styles

  • Vinyasa flow: is  characterised by linking postures together so that you move seamlessly from one to another, using the breath.  Its stimulating and can be challenging

  • Restorative: is a restful practice that encourages you to slow down and open your body through passive stretching and mindful breathing. These classes may include a guided meditation called Nidra

  • Mindful movement: Draws on a range of yoga and movement styles. It integrates breath, body and focused attention to foster functional mobility, relaxation and presence.

  • Iyengar: is a style with an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the postures. The practice has been carefully structured in a way to allow a beginner to progress surely and safely through asana and it uses many props to enable students to find stability and balance in poses.

  • Yin: Yin asana (poses) are held for longer periods and generally practiced as seated or reclining poses.  The longer hold allows us time to really feel the sensations created by the pose, and when we combine these 'feelings' with conscious breath, deep release of connective tissue can occur.  This is a quiet contemplative practice which can help still the 'mind chatter' 

  • Pink/restorative:  A class for women who have had a cancer diagnosis. In this class there is a focus on gentle poses, combined with breath awareness to help regenerate the physical body and to assist with stress/anxiety and fatigue reduction.

Class Descriptions

  • A beginner level class suitable for those new or coming back to Yoga

  • Exploring and synchronising breath and movement to enable deep relaxation. A slow-paced class.

  • Gentle Yoga – for women whose lives have been affected by cancer, with Brigid, Jan, Mollie or Sue.

  • A restful practice that encourages you to slow down and open your body through passive stretching.

  • Connect movement with breath in a flowing yoga sequence

  • Intermediate classes are suitable for those who have practised regularly for a minimum of 6 months

  • One-hour of intermediate level lunchtime yoga.

  • A challenging practice. Please consult your instructor to check this class level is right for you.

  • Iyengar focuses on alignment, using props to improve accessibility in challenging postures.

  • A challenging practice. Please check with your instructor whether this class level is right for you.

  • Vinyasa is a stimulating practice using the breath to link postures together in a seamless flow.
